Like anyone who is listed, companies also have a work history report. In his case, it is a document that includes the most relevant information on the last year of contribution and that the General Treasury of the Social Security has begun to send to companies that use the Direct Settlement System.

The Direct Payment System, which is already used by most companies , allows through the Internet to go from a self-assessment model in which the employer processes the payment of Social Security contributions to another in which it is Social Security itself that, based on the affiliation information it has , do the invoicing of the quotes yourself. The company must only report possible changes in the situation of any of its employees and give its monthly agreement to the settlement calculation document that will be sent by the Administration.

Companies can consult or download their work history report at the Social Security Electronic Office, in the 'Online notifications' section, through the 'Online communications' option. Previously, the firm must have provided their contact information (mobile phone and email) in the 'Companies/Affiliation' and 'Registration/Communication of employer's phone and email' section of the same website.

What information does the company's working life report contain

The working life report is aimed at companies with workers registered in the last year and summarizes the following information.

To begin with, there is the company's identification data: company name or tax identification number associated with the main contribution account code that identifies the company before Social Security, on the date indicated in the report. It also shows the company's registered office, email address and the secondary contribution account code number or codes associated with the main contribution account code, not including those of the special system for domestic employees.

Then there is all the information related to the price:

-Liquidations presented distinguishing between ordinary and complementary.

-Quotas calculated by the Social Security according to the information sent by the company, distinguishing the amount corresponding to the contribution of the employer and that of the worker.

-Contribution bases, distinguishing the amount of the contribution bases for common contingencies, professional contingencies and for overtime.

-Deductions, compensations and bonuses. Here is all the information about deductions (reductions and bonuses applied to Social Security contributions), compensation applied for situations of temporary disability under a delegated payment regime and bonuses for professional training for the employment of workers (continuous training). .

-Remuneration concepts paid, differentiating the amount of those that are included in the calculation of the contribution base from those that are excluded.

-Quotas paid on time and for the entire settlement, differentiating the amount corresponding to the contribution paid by the company and paid by the worker.

-Situation regarding the income of Social Security contributions on the last day of the month prior to the date indicated in the document. If it is not up to date, the total amount of the debt is detailed.

-Deferment of quotas. If the company maintains debt deferred to the last day of the financial year, the amount pending amortization at the end of the financial year is reported.

In addition, the report contains other data for the main trading account code updated as of the date the report was generated. It identifies who manages this code in the Direct Settlement System and details the collective agreements applicable to the company (up to a maximum of ten in those cases in which more than one applies), as well as the collaborating mutuals with which maintains formalized coverage of professional contingencies and the option on the economic benefit for temporary disability due to common contingencies.

Finally, the employment history report also contains graphic information on the evolution of the company's share price, the number of registered workers at the end of each registered month, the number of employees for each type of employment contract, the volume of work according to the type of employment contract and the evolution of actual working hours, those declared by the company as worked by employees with contribution modality on a daily basis in the Special System of agricultural workers employed by others.
